Your Day in Vrindavan

Performing service for the pleasure of the Lord is a central part of the Krishna consciousness movement, for service is the true intrinsic nature of everyone. Performing seva personally, like offering lamps to the Lord, cooking for him, sowing dresses, personally serving the vaishnavas with prasad and gifts, feeding the cows, visiting holy places and so forth is certainly the best, it is also always most beneficial and often times most convenient to donate one’s hard earned laxmi in the service of the Lord in the temple. Facilitating this, ISKCON Vrindavan is providing everyone with an opportunity to donate for ‘Your day in Vrindavan’. By giving Rs.21,000 only, the donor will be blessed with the benefits of having performed Rajabhog Arati of Sri Gaur Nitai, Sri Krishna Balaram and Sri Radha Shyamsundar, Go seva, propagation of Yuga dharma Harinaam Sankirtan by serving the 24 hrs kirtan department, feeding the vrajavasis and serving the vaishnavas.

Since the purpose of ‘Your day in Vrindavan’ is to encourage one to perform all the services that one would ideally perform while being in Vraja, we have ensured to not miss out any of the vital services that are very pleasing to Krishna and grant one with the greatest spiritual merit. By serving the Vrajavasis prasad and providing resources for the service of the devotees, you shall be blessed with the eligibility to approach the Lord and perform other services, for without the blessings of the Vaishnavas and Vrajavasis, no one can possibly approach the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is completely controlled by the love of his devotees and can be rightfully said to be the property of his dear Vrajavasis. Thus attaining there blessings are imperative.

Then we shall serve the cows, who are most dear to Govinda the maintainer of the Cows, on your behalf and gain their affectionate blessings for your spiritual upliftment and material well being. We can then approach and serve the Lord after having first gained the blessings of the Vaishnavas, Vrajavasis and the Cows. We may have our desires of how we would like to serve the Lord, but a true devotee would first endeavor to serve Krishna in accordance with the Lord’s desire and instructions. In the Bhagawat Gita, Krishna says that the devotee who preaches his names and glories is most dear to him and this implies that singing the names of the Lord is the greatest service that one could render and this was also preached by Sri
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In order to please the Lord, your donation will be utilized to support the 24 hrs Kirtan department, the sole purpose of which is to sing and chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. At last the highest perfection of serving the Lord with the Rajabhog Arati will also be included in this program.

A dedicated day of ‘YOUR DAY IN VRINDAVAN’ service will help you to advance both materially and spiritually. You can do this service on your birthday, anniversaries, memorials or any other occasion. Pleasing Lord Sri Krishna, His cows and His devotees will certainly bring utmost satisfaction to your heart.

For your generosity and compassion, we shall send you a Memorandum Gift Pack with Mahaprasadam from Sri Vrindavan Dham and an 80-G Receipt for Tax Exemption.
